ZGT Expands Services: Neurological Intensive & Hand Therapy by November

The ZGT Health and Therapy Center in Adlkofen is expanding its services to include neurological intensive therapy and hand therapy by the end of November. This expansion is part of the center's ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive care to its patients.

Founded as a rehabilitation center, the ZGT now employs a team of 65 professionals, including physiotherapists, ergotherapists, speech therapists, and sports scientists. Margot Raff's daughters, Denise and Nadine, have also joined the company, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise.

The ZGT has invested around 2.5 million euros in state-of-the-art technology and equipment to offer tailored treatment options. One such innovation is the EksoNR exoskeleton, which enables patients who have lost the ability to walk independently to relearn this skill. The center is also one of only 40 practices in Germany that offer digital signatures for rehabilitation sports, further streamlining the treatment process.

Landrat Peter Dreier recently visited the ZGT to discuss industry challenges and opportunities. He encouraged doctors to use the healthcare catalog more effectively for long-term therapy approaches and urged individuals to take responsibility for their health early and consistently. During the visit, bureaucracy and obstacles in digitalization were discussed, highlighting the need for clear guidelines and standardization.

The ZGT's expansion into neurological intensive therapy and hand therapy is set to further enhance the care it provides to its patients. With its investment in cutting-edge technology and a team of dedicated professionals, the center continues to push the boundaries of rehabilitation and therapy. The support and guidance of local officials, such as Landrat Peter Dreier, are crucial in helping the ZGT navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
