Yakutsk Launches 'Sober Yakutsk' Project for 2025-2030

A new project, 'Preserving Sobriety of Children, Youth, and Restoring Sobriety in Adults in Yakutsk for 2025-2030', has kicked off in Yakutsk. This initiative builds upon successful social campaigns like 'Sober Village' and 'Sober Step', aiming to create a sober and healthy Yakutsk.

The project's journey began with a foresight session on September 22, 2025, led by Anastasia Savvina, a candidate of medical sciences. The session, titled 'Sobriety - A Way of Life', discussed current issues and strategized for effective anti-alcoholism tools. A practical seminar, 'Conscious Sobriety', followed on September 29, focusing on personal transformation and strengthening convictions for a sober lifestyle, led by Petr Gubochkin.

The project takes a holistic approach, covering all age groups and employing various methods, from educational seminars to strategic planning. It aligns with the region's strategy for social and economic development by 2030, prioritizing human interests and project management.

On September 29, 2025, institutions and individuals will gather at the 'Public Center' conference hall to consolidate efforts and coordinate resources for the project's effective implementation. The project aims to strengthen previous efforts, expand its scope, and deepen work with different population groups, ultimately fostering a sober and healthy Yakutsk by 2030.
