World Aids Day marks the appearance of Spotlight Association
On December 1, 2023, the Spotlight Association will be marking World AIDS Day with a series of events across Pforzheim. The international theme for this year's World AIDS Day is "Let Communities Lead".
The day will kick off with Spotlight having an information table and a package action at the Rex cinema center. From 11 am to 8 pm, the association will also be present at the Golden Christmas Market.
In addition, Spotlight will offer testing opportunities at Pforzheim University and many schools in Pforzheim, Enzkreis, and Calw during December. A HIV and other sexually transmitted infections testing checkpoint will be set up at Goldschmiedeschulstraße 6 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Spotlight, formerly known as Pforzheim AIDS Help, is a specialist point for sexual health and self-determination. The association will participate in events on World AIDS Day aimed at raising awareness, providing education, and offering testing services.
As part of the Red Ribbon Action on World AIDS Day, the Sparkassenturm and the town hall will be lit up in red.
