Needless to say, heat can be pretty lethal to those without a roof over their heads, so we're happy to announce these vital initiatives, bypassing red tape and getting straight to the point. Here's what's in store:

  • Need some H2O? We got you covered. Social workers will be all over the city handing out water bottles to help beat the heat.
  • Rolling like a sun-baked marshmallow? Score some sunscreen from the good Samaritans. Our wonderful social workers will also be on a mission to make sure everyone slathers up.

"Can't stress enough that scorching temps can be deadly for the homeless," smacks Cansel hard and fast. "Our summer relief initiatives provide essential, lifesaving services, whether it's distributing water bottles, sunscreen, or opening up cool spots in places like churches." Approximately 300,000 euros have been allocated for these programs.

Lastly, a friendly reminder, folks: if you spot someone homeless, cooking like a lobster on a city bench, lend them a helping hand! Your vigilance could save a life!
