Upon completion of renovations, the No. 2 Children's Music School has officially reopened.

The Children's Music School No.2 in Biysk, under the leadership of its director Svetlana Fuguotova, has reopened its doors to students following a major repair. The city administration, headed by Mayor Victor Shigrev, allocated funds for the necessary renovations.

The repair, which cost approximately 5 million rubles from the city budget, was prompted by a flood that occurred due to a contractor's negligence. The flooding caused black and orange mould and ceiling damage, necessitating a complete overhaul of the school's internal premises, including walls, ceiling, and floors.

Victor Andreyevich, the head of the city, assured that additional funding would be made available for any necessary repairs, including the purchase of expensive musical instruments like pianos, which can cost up to 600,000 rubles.

The renovated school now boasts a modern appearance, with cosmetic repairs made on the ground floor where water had damaged the walls. A new room for relaxation and dining for teachers was also created.

Svetlana Sergeevna, the director of the school, confirmed that the school is accepting new students. The school offers not only general development programs and instrumental performance but also additional pre-professional programs lasting 5 and 8 years in various instruments and choral singing.

The redistribution of students and teachers to other city schools during the repair period did not disrupt their musical education. The school resumed operations on September 1, 20XX, and the sensitive and knowledgeable teachers lead groups for children aged 4 to 6, focusing on early musical development.

In other news, a musical group from the Altai region has become a nominee for the M.U.Z.-T.V. award. The city administration is proud to support the arts and looks forward to the continued success of Children's Music School No.2 and its students.

Victor Shigrev, the city head, visited the school post-repair, expressing his satisfaction with the results and his support for the school's future endeavours. The Children's Music School No.2 was reopened under the city's local government leadership, signifying a new chapter in its history.
