Serena Williams Maintains Fitness and Health with Comprehensive Routine

Tennis superstar Serena Williams has been making headlines not just for her impressive career on the court, but also for her dedication to maintaining her fitness and health.

Since giving birth to her youngest daughter Adira, 21 months ago, Williams has lost around 40 pounds. Despite the weight loss, she continues to look fit and healthy. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Williams was asked about criticism regarding her weight loss, to which she replied, "Everyone looks great!"

Williams' exercise regimen is as rigorous as her tennis training. It features strength training with barbell squats and lunges, core work with bicycle and leg crunches, and a significant emphasis on cardio. She does at least 60 minutes of cardio daily, either playing tennis, using machines like the stairmaster or treadmill, or engaging in dance classes.

When it comes to her diet, Williams tracks her glucose levels using the Lingo program. This helps her make informed food choices by identifying what spikes her blood sugar. She focuses on clean eating with an emphasis on leafy greens, berries, ginger, turmeric, and hydration (3-4 liters of water daily) to reduce inflammation. She also practices intermittent fasting and prioritizes emotional wellness, including therapy and mindfulness exercises.

Post-retirement, Williams continues her holistic approach, combining strength training, cardio, yoga, and mental wellness practices to ensure sustainability and balance in her fitness journey. She emphasizes the importance of quality sleep (7-8 hours) and self-care beyond physical training.

Off the court, Williams is a venture capitalist through her Serena Ventures. She has raised more than $100 million of outside capital to invest in over 30 companies since 2021. She is also friends with Meghan Markle and they trade recipes.

Williams' farm in South Florida produces a variety of crops, including purple sweet potatoes, mangoes, blueberries, raspberries, and more. She dehydrates Moringa leaves to make tea and has a large yield of honey on her farm.

Currently, Williams is on vacation in New York with her family. She follows a mostly plant-based diet and has been showcasing her workout routine and sleek curves on social media.

In addition to her executive producer role for Carrie Soto is Back for Netflix, based on the Taylor Jenkins Reid novel by the same name, Williams continues to inspire and motivate millions with her dedication to fitness, health, and wellness.
