Training events organized by the Johanniter in Ingolstadt
Annual Training Weekend for Volunteer Units of the Johanniter in Ingolstadt Area
The Johanniter Accident Assistance will host its annual training weekend for volunteer units from April 25 to 27, 2025, in the Ingolstadt area. The event will focus on professional exchange, workshops, and practical training for deployment forces.
Highlights of the training weekend include a joint exercise on Saturday, April 26, from approximately 14:15 to 17:30, in the Fort Rosenschwaig area near Hagau. This exercise will simulate the search, supply, and rescue of missing persons under realistic conditions. The exercise will involve rescue dog teams, drones for person search, all-terrain vehicles, and rescue vehicles for subsequent patient transport.
The exercise will be preceded by a vehicle column moving from the Johanniter service point on Geisenfelder Street via Am Stadtweg, Klein-Salvator-Straße, B13/Münchner Street, Weicheringer Street, and ending in Hagau. The return journey will follow the same route after the exercise is completed. Motorcycles will escort and secure both journeys, and temporary traffic disruptions are expected along the route for both the outward and return journeys. Road users are asked for their understanding.
To ensure smooth communication among all participating deployment forces during the exercise, a separate radio channel will be set up. The integrated control center Region 10 is informed and involved in the planning.
The regional training weekend is a crucial element in the training and qualification of volunteer deployment forces of the Johanniter in the Regional Association of Oberbayern. The goal is to train deployment sequences, cooperation, and action security under as realistic conditions as possible, so that every move is second nature in an emergency.
It is recommended that individuals seeking detailed information about this event visit the official Johanniter website or contact them directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
