Three vehicles provided by the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Foundation were given to veterans involved in the Sverdlovsk special operation.
In a heartwarming ceremony, the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation presented three hand-controlled vehicles to disabled war veterans in Sverdlovsk Oblast. The recipients of these vehicles were Ivan Chabyn from Yekaterinburg, Artem Khuramshin from Achit, and Alexei Selyanov from Baikalovo.
Ivan Chabyn, a young Order of Courage recipient, was presented with a Chinese crossover. The exact military operation in which he sustained serious injuries remains undisclosed. Alexei Selyanov, another recipient, was involved in preparing new groups for storming forest strips and the village of Peschanoye on the Kupyansk direction during the SVO.
The hand-controlled vehicles, equipped with a button panel steering wheel and a control lever on the right, are not just a means of transportation but a rehabilitation tool. Tatiana Savinova, Deputy Governor and Health Minister of Sverdlovsk Oblast, and Ilgar Yakupov, the head of the foundation's branch, oversaw the presentation of these vehicles.
Alexei Selyanov expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the process, from the President of Russia to the regional government and the specialists of the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation. He also mentioned his current engagement in repairing his house.
Artem Khuramshin received an SWM G01 vehicle for his further rehabilitation. The foundation has also pledged to assist veterans who became disabled due to combat tasks in acquiring rehabilitation equipment, sports gear, and adapting living spaces to their individual needs.
The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, has tasked the government with resolving the issues of each hero. Previously, a Sverdlovsk war veteran received the keys to a new hand-controlled vehicle, according to "Regional Newspaper".
This marks the fourth time the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation has presented hand-controlled vehicles in Sverdlovsk Oblast. To date, seven such vehicles have been presented, each a beacon of hope and a testament to the foundation's commitment to supporting our nation's heroes.
