Residents of Chelyabinsk region received 2,700 discount travel passes from the Federal Republic of Russia.
The Chelyabinsk branch of Russia's Social Security Fund has released 2,770 subsidized vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment this year, as reported by its press service. Eligible candidates, including individuals with disabilities, military veterans, and those affected by radiation, can benefit from these vouchers if they receive the in-kind social services package, which includes sanatorium-resort treatment and travel to and from the treatment location.
Applicants can submit their applications through the government services portal or in-person at the client service office in Chelyabinsk. Required documentation for the application includes a medical certificate form 070/у, stating the presence of sanatorium-resort treatment indications and the absence of contraindications.
Vladimir Sharov, the acting head of the Chelyabinsk branch of the Social Security Fund, stated that 25 state contracts have been signed with local sanatoriums and health resorts in the Krasnodar region, Crimea, and other regions for residents of Chelyabinsk to access suitable health facilities. Some examples include 'Дальняя Дача', 'Кисегач', 'Карагайский бор', 'Долинск', 'Бирюза', 'Анапа', and 'Илона'.
The duration of sanatorium-resort treatment depends on the individual's health condition, ranging from 18 days for most individuals to 21 days for children with disabilities and 24 to 42 days for those with spinal and head injuries. Additionally, the Social Security Fund issues special tickets or named referrals for travel to and from the treatment location, including electronic tickets for train travel through the RZD website without visiting the ticket office.
