Quarantine Imposed in Bolshie Yarki to Combat Animal Rabies Outbreak
A quarantine has been imposed in Bolshie Yarki, Kazan municipal district, Tyumen region due to an outbreak of animal rabies. The restrictions include a ban on exporting both domestic and wild animals, as well as any gatherings involving animals within the affected settlement.
The quarantine aims to localize the outbreak and prevent further spread of the disease. In Tyumen, officials have implemented measures such as widespread vaccination of animals, establishment of quarantine zones, and public awareness campaigns to curb the spread of animal rabies.
The export of animals, including those destined for zoos and exhibitions, is temporarily banned. This restriction will only be lifted after official confirmation of the settlement's rabies-free status. Markets, exhibitions, auctions, and other animal gatherings are also prohibited during this period.
The quarantine restrictions in Bolshie Yarki will remain in effect until further notice. Officials are working diligently to contain the outbreak and restore the settlement's rabies-free status, at which point the export ban and other restrictions will be reconsidered.
