On Saturday, August 30, 2025, at around 1:45 PM, a traffic accident occurred in Lippe, Germany. The incident took place at the bus stop located at Hornsche Straße/Fabrikstraße.

A 75-year-old man from Detmold was struck by an unknown cyclist near the bus stop. The pedestrian fell to the ground as a result of the collision, sustaining minor injuries.

The male cyclist, who was also unidentified, initially stopped at the scene but subsequently fled along the shared pedestrian and cycle path of Hornsche Straße towards Detmold. The reason for his decision to leave the scene after the victim mentioned they would inform the police remains unknown.

A witness assisted the injured pedestrian at the scene of the accident, but the location of this assistance was not specified.
