Seems like spring is around the corner, and it's high time for queer folks to dust off their hiking boots and explore the great outdoors. That's where OutdoorLads, a charitable organization from the UK, comes into play.
OutdoorLads lures thrill-seekers to leap into an array of outdoor escapades—from the snow-capped peaks of Snowdonia to the picturesque landscapes of the South Downs. Their main goal? Recent studies by Stonewall, conducted in 2018, revealed that more than half of Britain's queer populace struggled with depression or anxiety in the previous year. The trans and non-binary community faced even steeper hurdles. Hence, OutdoorLads aims to confront these issues head-on, providing an antidote to the burdens faced by queer Britons through the life-changing powers of the outdoors.
To be clear, this charity aims to cater to a diverse crowd: gay, bi, trans men, and anybody aged 18 and above, regardless of orientation.

Last year, OutdoorLads sponsored an impressive 1,700 events providing over 30,000 opportunities for members to indulge in all sorts of activities, from conquesting mountain trails in the Lake District to cycling blissfully in the Cotswolds. Their legion of volunteers contributed a whopping 22,000 hours towards helping LGBTQ+ people experience tranquility within nature's arms.
