Krasnodar Krai's 'Zemsky Doctor' Program Attracts Skilled Professionals with Housing Aid

Krasnodar Krai, led by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, has initiated a pioneering program to attract and retain skilled professionals in the social sector. The 'Zemsky Doctor' initiative aims to tackle the shortage of qualified personnel by offering financial assistance for housing purchases.

The regional budget has allocated a substantial 750 million rubles for this purpose, with 150 million already distributed. Around 300 doctors will be employed in Kuban clinics under this program. Medical professionals and educators are eligible for an initial down payment of 1.5 million rubles towards their new homes.

One beneficiary, Elena Zubaрева, a Russian language teacher in one of Krasnodar's schools, moved to the region from the LNR with her family two years ago. She received state support for housing, demonstrating the program's success in attracting and retaining skilled professionals. Over 300 social sector specialists have already benefited from this assistance.

The 'Zemsky Doctor' program is a testament to Krasnodar Krai's commitment to investing in its future. By making it financially easier for skilled professionals to settle in the region, the program aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and improve the social sector's overall performance.
