Health Fair itinerary for NOGEM 2nd North-Overfalen Health Event
Second North Upper Palatinate Health Fair (NOGEM) Returns to Weiden in 2019
The North Upper Palatinate Health Fair (NOGEM) made a triumphant return to Weiden, Germany, on the 28th and 29th of September, 2019. The event, which is dedicated to health, prevention, fitness, wellness, and vitality, took place at the Max-Reger-Halle.
The NOGEM is a family-oriented event that offers a variety of activities and opportunities for visitors. In previous editions, the fair has included health screenings and check-ups, informational booths from medical institutions and health organizations, workshops and presentations on wellness, nutrition, and preventive care, activities promoting physical fitness and mental health, and opportunities to meet healthcare professionals and ask questions.
Unfortunately, detailed schedules from the 2019 NOGEM are not readily available in public archives. If you are looking for specific sessions, exhibitors, or timings from the 2019 NOGEM fair, I recommend contacting the event organizers in Weiden or checking archived materials from local health departments or Weiden city event archives.
Meanwhile, the city of Weiden was not the only place in Bavaria experiencing events of significance. In a separate incident, a four-year-old child was severely injured after approaching a dog. Additionally, concerns about the Auerbach site have led to 9,000 jobs being at risk, with the ZF site in Auerbach included in the jobs at risk.
Elsewhere, heavy rain caused flooding incidents in the Amberg-Sulzbach area, and a child fell from a sixth-floor balcony and died in Deggendorf. In a separate, unrelated case, a 26-year-old was sentenced to life in prison for wanting to become a serial killer and committing murder.
Despite these events, the NOGEM continued to provide a platform for promoting health, wellness, and vitality, and its success in its previous edition in 2017 is a testament to its importance and relevance. The fair started at 10 am on both days and closed its doors at 5 pm each day.
