Game center ordered to compensate young girl for her injured arm with a sum of 200,000 rubles, as ruled by the court.

A young girl endured a traumaticexperience at a Krasnodar amusement center during a birthday bash a few years back. The harrowing incident stretched over nearly three years, with legal action concluding not long ago.

An unfortunate turn of events meant that no CCTV footage captured the child's fall, making the investigation a challenging endeavor. According to eyewitness accounts, following the fall, the girl cried and screamed, but the center's staff seemed to overlook her plight. Medical professionals subsequently diagnosed the child with a displaced fracture of her right forearm, necessitating surgery and follow-up physiotherapy.

"Since the incident, the child's emotional wellbeing has taken a toll," stated the family’s attorney, Nikolai Chernyshuk, leader of the public organization "Right to Health." The little girl, Milana, has since developed a profound fear of being outdoors, clinging tightly to her mother, endures nightmares, avoids playgrounds and attractions."

In a court-ordered medical examination, the injury was classified as moderate. On June 4, a ruling was passed, requiring the amusement center to compensate for moral damages: 200,000 rubles for the child and 80,000 for the mother. The center's representatives had initially placed a much lower value on the child's suffering, estimating it at 50,000 rubles during the hearing.

The family's legal team is looking to challenge the verdict, aspiring for a more fitting compensation. So far, however, the detailed outcomes of the appeal effort have remained unfathomed.

The traumatic experience at the amusement center not only impacted Milana's physical health with a displaced fracture of her right forearm, requiring surgery and rehabilitation, but also negatively affected her mental health, leading to fear of being outdoors, nightmares, and avoidance of playgrounds and attractions. The family's attorney, Nikolai Chernyshuk, emphasized the importance of health and wellness, including mental health, in this case.
