Parkinson's NSW Sets Up Advisory Committee
Parkinson's NSW is shaking things up with a fresh Support Group Consultative Committee! These guys will lend their ears to decisions about the org's support group coms, education, leadership training, operations, and activities.
To put this badass team together, a call for nominations whizzed out to all Support Groups. The deets? Starting with a staunch commitment to Parkinson's NSW's purpose and values, an obvious belief in the magic of Support Groups, and experience as part of a Parkinson's NSW Support Group Leadership Team. Plus points for education/training skills, support group advocacy, fundraising prowess, respectful discussion ability, familiarity with legal requirements, and communication/tech skills.
Bonus points if you can do email, phone, and Zoom with flair, know the ins and outs of Parkinson's NSW Support Groups, have some business, finance, management experience, excel in a caring role, and are willing to commit to three annual meetings, with additional email work between sesh. Regional and Sydney-based peeps were sought for representation balance.
