Tomsk Emergency Medical Station Receives New Vehicles for Enhanced Services

The Tomsk Emergency Medical Station, a vital medical institution in the region, has received a significant boost with the arrival of new Class B ambulances and Class C reanimobiles. Around 40 million rubles from the regional budget were allocated for the purchase of these new vehicles.

These vehicles will play a crucial role in handling the station's daily operations, which involve around 700 requests and up to 600 trips per day. Governor Vladimir Mazur emphasized the importance of providing comfortable working conditions for emergency teams, including modern, well-equipped vehicles.

The new vehicles, all made in Russia, are equipped with all necessary medical equipment and supplies. Class B ambulances are designed for transporting patients who require medical monitoring and basic emergency care during transit. They are staffed by paramedics or emergency medical technicians and are equipped with ECG machines, automatic defibrillators, resuscitation kits, bactericidal lamps, transportation immobilization devices, ventilators, oxygen inhalers, and more.

Class C reanimobiles, on the other hand, represent a higher level of care, often equipped as mobile intensive care units. They provide advanced life support and complex medical interventions en route and are staffed by specialized personnel such as emergency physicians or anesthesiologists. The Class C reanimobiles at the Tomsk Emergency Medical Station are equipped with artificial ventilation machines, patient monitoring systems, defibrillators, syringe pumps, electrocardiographs, and devices for maintaining vital functions. They also have vacuum mattresses for long-distance patient transportation.

Governor Mazur handed over the keys to eight new vehicles to the head doctor of the Tomsk Emergency Medical Station, Nikolai Rodyonov, expressing gratitude to the doctors, paramedics, and drivers for their work and expressing hope that the new vehicles would be reliable assistants to the doctors. The Tomsk Emergency Medical Station, one of the largest medical institutions in its region, continues to operate 365 days a year, with no weekends or holidays, ensuring round-the-clock emergency services for the citizens of Tomsk.

The re-equipment of healthcare institutions in the region will continue, both through regional programs and the national project "Healthy Lifestyle". This initiative aims to improve the quality of healthcare services and ensure that the region's emergency medical services are equipped with the latest technology and resources to save lives.
