Elderly Man Robbed and Injured in Neu-Hohenschönhausen
An elderly man was robbed and injured in Neu-Hohenschönhausen yesterday evening. The incident occurred around 19:45 on Arnimstraße. Two unknown individuals targeted the man, causing him to fall and sustain injuries to his hip.
The suspects, who remain at large, grabbed the strap of the man's coach bag and pulled it forcefully. One of them managed to remove the shoulder bag, which contained money, and both fled the scene. The investigation into this violent crime is being handled by a specialized unit from the Direction 3 (East) headquarters. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The robbery on Arnimstraße is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police. The victim's condition is not life-threatening.
