Charity collaboration between DrDoGood and Father's House Community Chapel offers complimentary health check-ups for over a thousand residents in Accra, Ghana
On April 19th, 2025, DrDoGood, in collaboration with Father's House Community Chapel, will host a health outreach event at the Manmomo AstroTurf, Adentan. This event aims to demonstrate the capabilities of DrDoGood's VOIP and AI technology, bringing consistent, quality care beyond physical events.
The Adentan outreach event will offer free health screenings to over 1,000 residents, including blood pressure and glucose checks, BMI analysis, and medical consultations with healthcare professionals. Emmanuella Tordman, Co-founder and CEO of DrDoGood, expressed her excitement about this event, describing it as another bold step in DrDoGood's mission to revolutionize how Ghanaians access care.
DrDoGood's technology features an AI-powered routing engine that analyzes a patient's profile and health concerns to match them with the next available doctor most suited to their condition. This ensures fast, efficient care that is both timely and relevant, improving the quality of follow-up consultations and reducing wait times.
In addition to the in-person services, DrDoGood will pilot its VOIP consultation technology at the event. This initiative will enable follow-up consultations via phone or internet calls, providing a solution for underserved communities. DrDoGood operates with over 43 partner facilities and 200+ health providers, and this pilot aims to transform access to care in these communities.
As a token of appreciation, DrDoGood is giving out a total of GHS 75,000 in consultation credits to participants of the screening. These credits can be used for virtual consultations after the outreach, making healthcare more accessible and affordable for those in need.
