The 354th Military Clinical Hospital of the Russian Defense Ministry in Kazan, part of the Central Military District, is currently providing high-quality medical care to servicemen participating in a special operation, their families, and military pensioners.

During a recent visit to the hospital, Anna Tsivileva, the State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, expressed satisfaction with the active implementation of the import substitution program. The hospital's wards and offices are equipped with modern domestic medical equipment, including main equipment such as X-ray machines and fluorographs.

Colonel of the Medical Service Damir Izhberdiev, the hospital's chief, stated that they do not have concerns about the maintenance of domestic equipment due to prompt service team arrivals to fix any issues. The hospital's polyclinic is capable of handling 250 outpatient visits per shift, and it also has a 150-bed inpatient unit.

Tsivileva inquired about the servicemen receiving all their due payments, and Izhberdiev confirmed that the hospital ensures timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits to its staff.

The Kazan hospital has returned more than 9,000 wounded servicemen to combat readiness during the special operation. It is also cooperating with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan to promptly receive information about servicemen seeking help in civilian medical facilities for further routing.

Despite the focus on Western technology in military aviation and other topics in recent news, the search results do not provide specific information about the current status of the import substitution program for medical equipment in Russia's military hospitals, including the Kazan hospital.

On her visit, Tsivileva also presented medals "For Courage" to servicemen who distinguished themselves in the performance of combat tasks during the special military operation. The hospital's facilities were found to be sparkling clean, reflecting the high standards of care and attention given to the servicemen. The program for further equipping the hospital with domestic equipment continues.

  1. The use of domestic medical equipment in the 354th Military Clinical Hospital, like X-ray machines and fluorographs, is a testament to the active implementation of Russia's import substitution program in the field of health and wellness.
  2. In the political landscape, the focus on Western technology in military aviation and other sectors leaves questions unanswered about the current status of the import substitution program for medical equipment, specifically in military hospitals such as the one in Kazan.
  3. As the Kazan hospital continues to prioritize health-and-wellness, with a 150-bed inpatient unit and the ability to handle 250 outpatient visits per shift, it is also making strides in addressing medical-conditions of servicemen off-site through cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
